College expresses grief over deaths

Bronwyn Clarke and Ryan Antonelli, both 22, died after they came off the Harley Davidson Mr Antonelli was riding about 4am.

‘The Sacred Heart College community extends its deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the two beautiful young people tragically killed on Sunday,’ principal Peter Bothe said.

‘Bronwyn and Ryan were classmates at Sacred Heart in the class of 2009. Our hearts go out to their parents.

‘The college will support members of the class of 2009 to offer them the chance to grieve for their friends.

‘Our prayers and thoughts are with all of those affected by their loss.’

Floral tributes were laid at the accident scene on Sunday, with one including a card with the words:

‘There is no greater loss than the death of your child. Two families are forever shattered and many, many hearts are broken. Go home and hug your babies and tell them you love them. They are so precious.’
