CONSULTATION on changes to increase housing density and add a business zone at a Hocking development plan will close this week.

The proposed changes relate land on Ranworth Road between St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School and Wanneroo Road.

The developer proposed to recode the remaining residential precinct to allow a higher density of housing, changing it from R20 with 450sq m block sizes to codes ranging from R25 (350sq m) to R60 (150sq m).

A concept plan for the Hocking site.

It also proposed to rezone the site containing the school from residential to private clubs or recreation, and to rezone land along Wanneroo Road to business.

The City of Wanneroo has invited feedback until November 7.
