Three re-elected members ” Dot Newton, Dianne Guise and Brett Treby ” were joined by first-time councillors Domenic Zappa, Linda Aitken, Sabine Winton, Glynis Parker and Hugh Nguyen.

‘Those newly elected to council bring with them a wide range of experience and knowledge, which will equip them for their new roles,’ Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

‘The quality of candidates showed the depth of highly qualified people in the City of Wanneroo who are willing to stand up to seek the opportunity to serve the community.’

Mrs Roberts thanked three councillors who were not re-elected, and Ian Goodenough who retired after winning a federal seat last month.
