The Jungle Giants will perform at the City of Wanneroo’s annual concert on Saturday, November 3.

THE countdown is on for the booked-out City of Wanneroo Presents Concert featuring The Jungle Giants this Saturday.

The four-piece band are expected to get the crowd at Wanneroo Showground pumping with their energetic set, including hits ‘Feel the Way I Do’, ‘On Your Way Down’, ‘Bad Dream’ and ‘Used To Be Love’.

Support acts at the November 3 concert include Asta, LANKS, Heaps Good Friends and Spacey Jane.

There will be food trucks and free activities to entertain children during the event from 4pm to 9.30pm.

While there will be designated parking areas, the City recommended people car-pool or catch public transport.

Event parking can be accessed of Ariti Avenue or Noonan Drive and parking marshalls will direct traffic.

The City advised people not to park on verges, with rangers patrolling who may issue infringements for vehicles causing an obstruction.

There will also be overflow parking at the City of Wanneroo Civic Centre and Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre, with a free shuttle bus running from designated points at both car parks.

For people being dropped off at the event, there will be at drop-off point on Noonan Ave.

For those using public transport, Transperth bus number 468 passes Wanneroo Showground and departs from both Whitfords and Joondalup train stations.

There will be traffic management on Wanneroo Road, with one lane closed for pedestrian safety.

Following criticism of ticketing for last year’s booked-out concert, the City had two releases for its residents this year and remaining tickets to the free event were booked out shortly after opening to the general public on October 12.
