While in Penang to celebrate their grandson’s wedding, their family members surprised them with the news that they’d bought them the relaxing seven-day cruise.
‘It was a big surprise,’ Mr Webster said. ‘We went back home to Perth to do some laundry and then flew to Brisbane (for the cruise).’
Celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary with a holiday was apt for the pair, who try to travel at least once a year, often to their former home of the Gold Coast.
