WET weather did not deter people from attending an Anzac Day parade in Wanneroo today.

The Wanneroo-Joondalup RSL sub-branch held its annual parade to Memorial Park following a dawn service at Joondalup’s War Memorial in Central Park.

The service remembered those who took part in the Gallipoli land on April 25, 1915 and those who have sacrificed their lives in wars and conflicts over the past century.

Speakers included Cowan MHR Luke Simpkins, sub-branch president Wendy Tuffin, MC Jack Dunn and Reverend John Myles.

The Challenge Brass band and Wanneroo Civic Choir performed at the service in Memorial Park.
