Multi-instrumentalist Morgan Bain was a late call-up at Woodvale’s Chichester Park to replace headline act Kim Churchill.

Churchill, who had recently toured the UK with Billy Bragg, was stranded in Singapore on his return to Perth.

Bain has supported the likes of Cold Chisel, Ash Grunwald and Xavier Rudd, and won this year’s WA Music Industry Blues and Roots Act of the Year.

The Polly Medlen Band and Tash Shanks also played at the Woodvale gig.

The final concert in the series will be at Caledonia Park in Currambine on Saturday, January 18, featuring headline act The Audreys.
