Hosted by Brightwater Care Group’s At Home Services, the morning tea celebrated Dementia Awareness Month in September.

All people living with dementia and their carers are welcome to attend the morning tea, which is held quarterly.

‘It’s often hard for people with dementia to undertake activities independently in the community and their carers often find it difficult to get time for social activities,’ Brightwater’s Bianca Briggs said.

‘We’ve found a way for these people to do both, with the inaugural dementia-friendly morning tea.’
