After hearing about the idea from one of her scout leaders, Imani approached her mum with the suggestion to hold a community drive for hair donations to help cancer patients feel better.

It was held at Goodstart Early Learning Centre Banksia Grove on August 31 and event organisers collected 17 ponytails, which were sent off to Look Good Feel Better in partnership with Panteen.

‘We are all very grateful to be part of a community that all jumped in and helped out,’ Imani’s mum Tegan Benfell said.
