Cyber safety workshops planned in Girrawheen and Wanneroo

CYBER crime workshops for seniors will be held in Girrawheen and Wanneroo this month.

The two-hour sessions will be hosted by Council on the Ageing WA and local politicians and led by ECU head of computer science David Cook. They will teach people how to protect themselves from scams, identity theft and internet fraud.

The first session is from 10am to noon on August 9 at the Girrawheen Koondoola Senior Citizens Centre. To RSVP, call 9247 2477 or email girra@mp.wa.gov.au.
