The damage left about 120 customers without water while traffic had to navigate a large pool of water abutting Mawson Park.

A Water Corporation spokeswoman said the problem was reported around 9.45am, crews had water turned off by 11am and repairs were completed by 12.30pm.

‘Water was flowing about 200 feet (60m) into the air,’ resident Neil McKellar said.
