Ambiance Dance and Movement Academy won awards at the Bayswater Festival of Dance

The 10-day competition involved 23 dance schools competing in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, troupe and other categories.

Ambiance Dance and Movement Academy won first, second and third place trophies as well as 16 honourable mentions and 14 special mentions.

The number of commendations won teacher Tania Sibon-Bourke the Teachers Aggregate award, the highest accolade of the competition.

‘I was totally speechless,’ Mrs Sibon-Bourke said.

‘I can’t thank my staff and helpers enough as they are all an integral part of the studio and the students could not achieve such outstanding results without everyone being apart of the Ambiance team.’
