Daughter Tayla (14), who has cerebral palsy, has outgrown her equipment, necessitating a $9000-plus outlay for more.

Parents Geraldine and Steve are committed to making life as normal as possible for the 2008 Metro Telethon child, who needs a new wheelchair and hoist system.

A ‘Glitz and Glam’ dinner-dance at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Saturday, August 10 will benefit Tayla, whose goal is to walk and be more independent.
