The Hearn family have decorated their home in Christmas lights for 10 years, raising money for Princess Margaret Hospital along the way.

A keen teddy bear collector, Di Hearn wanted to add some more cheer to the neighbourhood, so she designed and bought a bear costume from overseas, which she wears every night.

‘We’re delighted to do our bit for the kids by fundraising for PMH Foundation, but the real joy for us is seeing people enjoying our lights, the old and the young ” the smiles on their faces are just classic,’ she said.

‘We have regular families who come to visit every single night ” there’s children who have grown up coming to see the lights every year.’

The display includes singing, dancing teddy bears and a floorshow featuring a dancing Santa and his reindeer.

PMH Foundation’s annual Christmas lights campaign is now in its 11th year. Last year 50 homes helped raise $62,000 for the foundation.
