Darch: man and woman arrested after allegedly threatening people with axe and taser

A MAN and a woman allegedly threatened victims with an axe and a taser in two recent northern suburbs incidents, including one in Darch.

Police last week charged the man (30) and woman (39) with two counts of aggravated armed robbery.

Investigators allege the pair went to collect money from a man in Darch on May 9 before threatening him and forcing him to drive them to a number of locations.

They allegedly stole the vehicle after forcing the man to get out in Connolly.

On May 28, police say a woman, who was known to the alleged offenders, visited a Dianella property to collect her phone from them.

They allegedly demanded she hand over her car.

The pair, both from Dianella, was remanded in custody to appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on June 16.
