Her 11-year-old daughter Camryn Gillett has also been cast as one of her on-stage children in the show.

"Ma Larkin is cheeky, fun and full of life, as well as being the old-fashioned traditional mum baking and making for her growing brood," she said.

The play will run from 8pm April 22-24. Tickets are $21, $18 concession and $16 children.
