Dog poo bag dispensers coming to parks

Lauren PedenWanneroo Times

City waste operations staff began rolling out the dispensers last month after the council decided to provide dog poo bins and bags at public open spaces as well as dog beaches.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said the dispensers would be placed near existing bins at parks.

"The City is committed to maintaining clean, healthy parks and always encourages dog owners to pick up after their four-legged friends," she said.

"We still encourage owners to bring their own bags as we all know dogs don't always choose the most convenient times to do their business."
