Goodstart Early Learning Centre’s three to five-year-olds took part in the inaugural, ‘I want 2 be day,’ raising $64 for the Kids’ Cancer Project.
Children dressed as fairies, action heroes, a police officer and other characters.
‘They loved it,’ teacher Natalie Howard said. ‘We made it our theme for the day discussing what their job roles might be when they grew up.’
The Kids’ Cancer Project has contributed more than $15 million to childhood cancer research since it started in 1993.
