QUINNS ROCKS mother Janet Louise Kirby (47) will appear in court on drink driving charges next month in relation to a crash that killed her daughter, Lois Kirby (15).
Police said today they had charged Ms Kirby with allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 per cent at the time of the fatal crash on March 14.
�It is alleged at about 10pm, the woman was driving a black Jeep Cherokee on Marmion Avenue near Greyhound Drive in Merriwa when the vehicle left the road and rolled over,� WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said.
�There were seven occupants in the vehicle, two adults and five children.
�A 15-year-old girl was ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of injuries she received.
�A 20-year-old woman received serious injuries to her left arm which required surgery.�
Ms Kirby is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 25.
