ECU runs stress, sleeping programs in Wanneroo

THE ECU Health Centre in Wanneroo will run programs on managing stress and sleeping better in June.

Psychology interns will deliver a ‘Maintaining balance under stress’ workshop at the Dundebar centre on Wednesday, June 5 from 9am to 1pm.

It will cover the links between stress, health, relationships, sleep and overall well-being, as well as strategies to combat worrying and intrusive thoughts.

They will also deliver a four-week ‘Sleeping better’ program on Thursdays from 10.15am to noon, starting June 6.

It will debunk myths about sleep, as well as looking at sleep hygiene and relaxation techniques.

The workshop costs $10 and the four-week program costs $40, with tea, coffee and light snacks included.
