Edgewater ATM theft: detectives call for public help

DETECTIVES have called for information about an ATM theft in Edgewater this morning.

WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the incident occurred about 2.20am on October 7.

“Unknown offenders in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, rammed the glass front doors of a shopping centre located on Wisteria Parade,” she said.

“Using the vehicle, the offenders have dragged an ATM from its footing, dragging it into the carpark area before loading it into the vehicle and fleeing.

“Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen either vehicle or its occupants.”
