EDUCATION Minister Peter Collier has visited a Darch school to discuss education funding.

At Ashdale Primary School last week, Mr Collier said the State Government would provide $2.7 million to all public primary schools for teaching and learning resources and a further $4 million for science, technology, engineering and maths resources in public primary and secondary schools.

This will include providing robots and tablets with coding apps for primary students.

“In 2018, all primary schools will include digital technologies in their classrooms, and the Government will provide resource packs suitable for all public kindergarten to Year 6 students across the state,” he said.
