The event included doggy dancing, obedience, sheep herding, agility demonstrations, behaviour tips, training advice and information on the recent changes to the Dog Act.
Joondalup mayor Troy Pickard said about 24,500 registered dogs lived in the City.
‘The City’s dog owners are not only passionate about their pets, they also firmly believe in responsible pet ownership and know how to get the best from their animals,’ he said.
