Explosion heard as Girrawheen house goes up in flames

A GIRRAWHEEN caller to emergency services reported an explosion and huge flames coming out of the roof in a Girrawheen house fire this morning.

DFES, which has notified arson detectives, were called to the O’Grady Way house at 10.22am and had the blaze under control by 10.46am.

Firefighters attended from Malaga, Duncraig and Osborne Park stations.
