The aim is to raise money for the welfare support charity, The Spiers Centre.

Fashion Fiesta, based on the UK television series Twiggy’s Frock Exchange, will be held from 1pm to 5pm at Joondalup Resort. Women aged 16 and over can take five pre-loved garments and exchange them for three, with the remainder to be donated to The Spiers Centre.

The charity event is being organised by Krystal Kreations, made up of Natasha Koekemoer, Kimberley Spence and Adriana Huskova, for their Diploma of Events at West Coast Institute of Training.

Ms Huskova said the event had never been seen before in Perth.

‘We wanted to start a new event trend in Perth and liked the idea of swapping clothes instead of spending money on new clothes,’ Ms Koekemoer added.

The event will include wine on arrival, finger food and refreshments, mini makeovers, live and silent auctions and door and raffle prizes. Tickets are $60 from krystalkreations2014@gmail.com.
