The RSPCA employee will step out in her animal print ‘onesie’ with her husband to celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary and raise $1000 for the animal charity.

‘Because I work for the RSPCA, I see first-hand every day the incredible work the organisation carries out in the community to help animals in need, particularly the inspectors, and I really want to do my bit to help,’ she said.

‘Admittedly, I may be a little embarrassed when I go out to dinner in my onesie, but the reality is that only 6 per cent of our funding comes from the State Government, so the organisation relies heavily on support from animal lovers. I’m determined to raise as much as I can and would welcome donations from anyone who would like to support me.

‘As for my husband, I’m fortunate that he is also a huge animal lover, so hopefully we will have a laugh during the evening and he won’t be too embarrassed about what I’m wearing.’

To donate, call the RSPCA on 9209 9300 or visit https://onesiewednesday.everydayhero.com/au/deida-s-onesie-wednesday.
