Despite temperatures hovering in the mid-30s, more than 3000 people attended the free festival for youngsters at ECU Joondalup.

Children built sand castles, got up close to animals and learnt about Aboriginal dancing in the Australian activity area, while other popular attractions at the ‘around the world’ themed festival included the Snow Globe and the Slide and Ride.

In feedback through the City’s social media, Ronzo Banal described the festival as ‘amazing’ and Jarrod Greenwood tweeted: ‘Great event by @City_Joondalup Little Feet Festival. Well done #freefamilyfun.’
