Super Tuesday seniors and MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) were among contributors to the Operation Christmas Child initiative to bring the festive spirit to needy children in Cambodia.
‘Quilt auctions, bring-and-buy stalls, busking and many other innovative ideas raised money to not only fill the boxes but pay for freight,’ Super Tuesday co-ordinator Glen Vawser said.
‘Hundreds of boxes have been put together and the Super Tuesday seniors put the finishing touches to them on October 22.’
