Fire deliberately lit

Volunteer bushfire brigades and aerial support helped Department of Parks and Wildlife firefighters contain the blaze in the cities of Wanneroo and Swan.

Warbrook and Silver roads stayed closed until Tuesday, which is when the fire was finally brought under control.

Another suspicious bushfire, which burnt 58ha in the Nowergup area bounded by Wesco, Wanneroo, Kiln and Old Yanchep roads, was reported on Monday at 3.10am.
