Hillarys MLA Rob Johnson said he was ‘quite shocked’ to hear of the closure of Naturaliste Marine Discovery Centre on Northside Drive and was ‘absolutely opposed’ to the decision.
‘All information provided to me in the past has been that it’s been very well supported, especially by younger school children, who have had enormous benefit,’ he said.
‘I’ve always been opposed to it becoming simply an office block for Fisheries staff’
