Flyover works extend to roundabout

Lucy JarvisWanneroo Times

MAIN Roads plans to start initial works to upgrade the Burns Beach Road roundabout tonight as part of the Wanneroo Road-Joondalup Drive flyover project.

The works, which aim to improve safety and reduce queuing times on the approach to the Mitchell Freeway, will be undertaken during night shifts from January 22.

Before construction works begin early 2020, pre-works need to be undertaken to collect further information and data about the work area, including survey, pavement coring to retrieve samples and further underground service location for power, communications, and water.
