BELOVED teacher Rosemary Kroll has retired after more than three decades at a Darch school.

Mrs Kroll was one of six teachers employed in 1984 to educate the 110 students at Kingsway Christian College, which was then based in Craigie.

Since then, the Year 1 teacher has seen the school grow to a population of nearly 1400 students and 160 staff.

Principal Peter Burton said Mrs Kroll had taught about 1000 students in the past 32 years, including two current staff members.

“Rosemary Kroll was much loved by students, parents and staff alike and her infectious passion for teaching has impacted generations and become ingrained in the culture of the college,” he said.

She was farewelled by students during a school assembly on July 1, followed by a staff morning tea.
