The candidates will be sworn in as Australian citizens before the WA Football League international round match between West Perth and Subiaco.

‘Australians love footy and every Saturday during the winter months thousands of people head to stadiums and grounds across the country to support their team,’ Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said.

‘Candidates and their guests will be given free entry to the international round clash between West Perth and Subiaco and for many of them this will be their first live experience of Australian Rules football.’

As in previous years of the international round, the Falcons will wear a specially redesigned guernsey to recognise and celebrate the club’s multicultural links.
