THE Girrawheen Hub will host a free job-seeking session to provide employment and resume writing advice next month.

The hour-long workshop, run by Royal Resumes and Coaching (RR&C), will give attendees tips on the resources available to job-seekers, along with advice on finding and applying for different roles.

Those attending the workshop can learn resume writing and interviewing techniques to use in future job applications and interviews.

Leading on from the free session, RR&C will also be offering a full course of employment workshops in November.

Held in the evenings, the sessions will help people looking to get into the workforce for the first time, or those re-entering employment after a long break.

The workshops are targeted towards youth and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.

The free workshop will be on November 6 from 6.30-7.30pm at 11 Patrick Court, Girrawheen.

The workshop series will be held in the same location starting with an introduction to job seeking on November 8, then resume and cover letter writing on November 15.

The November 22 workshop will cover job seeking techniques and the November 29 session will be about interviewing techniques.

Attendees can buy tickets to all four workshops for $80, or pay $30 per session.
