Trial of free tennis courts for Koondoola and Mindarie

Councillors asked staff at last week’s council meeting to detail any constraints of a possible free trial at the Koondoola Oval and Bellport Parade courts and report back to the council in December.

An alternative recommendation, moved by Cr Hugh Nguyen, asked City staff to investigate the feasibility of a trial for all ‘underutilised’ courts across the City and report back in March.

Community development director Fiona Bentley said the City would look at a similar initiative with City of Joondalup courts.
