Joondalup and Districts Country Women’s Association transformed the venue into a French cafe, art gallery and performance area, raising about $1000.

More than 70 people enjoyed morning tea, a French casserole and profiterole lunch, entertainment, a parade of French characters and a chance to dabble in painting at the makeshift art gallery. There was also a display of books on France and French produce.

Ronald McDonald House community liaison officer Jeannie Bartlett thanked the club for supporting families with seriously ill children having treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital and needing local accommodation.
