Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

Kayla Mattaboni, of Clarkson, Demi-Lee Russell, of Hillarys, Lydia Smith, of Carramar, and Jade Hopkinson, of Iluka, organised a Rustic Garden Party to support Save Animals from Euthanasia (SAFE) and to earn credits towards their event management diploma. Ms Russell and her West Coast Institute classmates said Perth band Wanderlust, musician Nicki Sandover and The X Factor finalist Sydnee Carter would perform at the November 21 event.

‘We have had to organise everything from scratch, gain sponsorship, put together fundraisers to support us financially, produce marketing opportunities and organise and plan with suppliers,’ she said. ‘SAFE is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing pets from euthanasia at pounds and vets.’

Cocktails and canapes will be served from 6.30pm at the Oakover Winery in the Swan Valley. Tickets are $75 and available from www.geniiproductions.wix.com/rusticgardenparty.
