Wanneroo Central Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade captain Darren Mibus said the February 26 event would raise funds for victims, which would be distributed through the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
Mr Mibus said local volunteers were directly involved in fighting the South-West fires.
“We had a number of crews down there on and off for a period of about two weeks,” he said.
