Events for all ages will be held at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre from July 5 to 12 while activity backpacks, containing books and toys will be available for loan from all City libraries throughout the month.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the inclusion of more Aboriginal resources in the City�s libraries was the result of the 2012-14 Reconciliation Action Plan which also saw the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags being displayed inside council chambers and outside the Civic Centre and more Naidoc and National Reconciliation Week events held across the City.�
Visit the Wanneroo Museum each day in July during opening hours to create origami fish, birds and frogs using Aboriginal design inspired paper or make your own tapping sticks on July 15.
