The public have until Friday to send through pictures, posts or comments to the City of Wanneroo Youth Facebook page with more ideas.

Community development director Fiona Bentley said having a say in the Ariti Street skate park’s redevelopment would give the City’s youth a sense of ownership.

‘We want to develop a destination for local skaters by offering quality facilities,’ she said.

‘The valuable input gathered from local skaters will certainly help to make this a reality.’

The design will include all kinds of wheeled sports, not limiting it to just skateboarding.
