THE Wanneroo Civic Choir will add a bit of drama to its annual spring concert.
Titled Gilbert and Sullivan Medley Fun to ABBA, the November 26 event will be have a slightly different format to previous years.
The first half will feature music ranging from popular to classical, while the second half will be a medley of well known humorous Gilbert and Sullivan operettas performed both musically and theatrically.

Guest artists will include soprano Rachel Monamy, flautist Naomi Adams and drummer Peter Cooke as well as the choir’s Merry Male Minstrels.
The concert will be held from 2.30pm at the Alexander Heights Community Centre.
Tickets at the door are $15 for adults and $10 for students, which includes afternoon tea.
The choir is also preparing to join St Anselm’s Anglican Church, Kingsley Church of Christ and Woodvale Secondary College for the first time for the annual Kingsley Community Carols Festival on December 11.
The Alexander Heights-based choir was first established in 1982 and now comprises 45 male and female singers aged between 28 and 80 from across Perth.
New members are welcome, with rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
