A MAN has been charged for allegedly unprovoked attacks on two victims at random in Girrawheen and Landsdale.
Police allege the man (19) first targeted a man in Girrawheen on Wednesday, July 13, about 3.45pm.
He allegedly accused the victim of damaging his car, before twice assaulting him.
Officers said the victim had not damaged the accused’s car and had never seen him before.
The man was accused of a similar offence not long after in Landsdale.
He allegedly singled out another male resident, who police said had no idea why the man was angry with him.
He is accused of threatening the victim with a knife before smashing the window of a car in the street.
Police said the man cut his arm in the process of smashing the window.
He was treated in Joondalup Health Campus.
Police charged him with committing an act or omission likely to cause fear, two assaults, criminal damage, disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour.
