THE Girrawheen-Koondoola Senior Citizens Centre will be closed from June 4-10 for upgrades and refurbishments, including the addition of new giant indoor games for visitors to unleash their inner child.
Work includes installing new carpet, a new public announcement system, a projector and screen in the main hall, a divider wall between the meeting and dining rooms, and lockable storage cages in the courtyard.
Other improvements include new tables and chairs, painted external walls, new giant indoor games and an exergaming (Wii) system, and new yoga mats.
