GIRRAWHEEN Lions Club members have teamed up with the Easter Bunny to deliver treats to children.

Travelling in Fat Cat’s gold buggy, which was recently acquired by the club, they visited young children at schools and day care centres including Hudson Park Primary School in Girrawheen and Koondoola Primary School and playgroup.

Member Brian Anderson said more than 430 Easter eggs were handed out to children.

“This was the first time Girrawheen Lions have undertaken a project like this and from the feedback provided it was a great success and was very popular with the children,” he said.

Mr Anderson said it was so well received they hoped to do it again next year.
