Gold jiu-jitsu run continues for Alex Nicholls

RISING Brazilian jiu-jitsu star Alex Nicholls recently returned from Melbourne with a national title.

The Alexander Heights 12-year-old competed at the Federation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Australia National Championship and won his age and weight category.

Alex has competed in nearly 50 local, state, national and international competitions, winning gold medals at all but four of them.

He trains five days at GFTeam Australian in Wanneroo under instructor Fabio Nunes and is busy preparing for the international competition in Melbourne in late October.
