The 2013-14 State Budget included $46.5 million over three years for the project, with $5.2 million allocated for start of construction that financial year.

The 2014-15 Budget announced last Thursday confirmed $46.5 million had still been allocated for the project and estimated only $565,000 had been spent in 2013-14.

About $6.4 million has been allocated for works in 2014-15, followed by $21.9 million and $17.7 million in the next two financial years.
