The 27-year-old, famous for designing dresses worn by the likes of Lady Gaga, spoke to the Weekender after a high tea fashion event and ahead of a design graduates� show atop Lakeside Joondalup last week.
The gold Gaga dress, worth about $15,000, and three others were on display for the runway show.
"It's amazing to me that I have kind of inspired young creatives," she said.

�It is such an amazing event for young designers because when you graduate you don't really know how to start in the industry. So it's just nice to have so many professionals and speakers to hear their stories as well.
"I was even inspired by all the speakers."
Jaime Lee and more fashion events will be part of the Joondalup festival this weekend.
She was proud to stand beside four models dressed in her Gaga design and other dresses.
"I haven't seen the dresses for such a long time because they have been in LA," she said.
