Principal Natalie Burns said the $500 State Government road safety grant had made fortnightly visits to the garden project possible.

‘A shoot off of the garden project is the road safety lessons around catching both charter buses and public buses,’ she said.

‘The charter bus will park in different areas just outside the school grounds as the practical component of the road safety lessons.’

The school’s vegetable garden teaches students the process of cultivating, planting and harvesting of food and contributes to weekly cooking classes.
