Gun, cash stolen in Landsdale burglary

POLICE are investigating a burglary in Landsdale in which cash and a rifle were stolen.

The burglary occurred about 8pm on Sunday May 12 at a house on Heathfield Drive.

Two men forced entry into the house and forced open a gun safe, taking the the rifle and cash.

They were disturbed and fled over the back fence of the property, where they got into an older model silver Holden Commodore or Calais sedan.

A person driving in the vicinity saw the suspicious behaviour and drove their vehicle in front of the Holden in an attempt to stop them from leaving.

The Holden narrowly missed their vehicle as it left the scene.

The men are described as fair skinned and about 30 years of age.

One had a solid build, while the other had a thin build with dark hair.
