Leanne Paterson was one of 25 runners-up in the ‘Happy Moment’ competition for a picture of her baby Eve Anne-Marie, winning a $200 Eftpos gift card and a $50 skin care pack.
The McGrath Foundation and skin care brand Alpha Keri ran the competition in August and September to celebrate happy moments between women and their children and honour the support breast care nurses give families.
‘It’s been wonderful to see parents across Australia share their happy moment with us to help celebrate the support the McGrath Foundation breast care nurses give Australian families,’ Alpha Keri marketing manager Debra Smith said.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. McGrath Foundation director and ambassador Tracy Bevan said it was a cause close to the heart of many Australians, with most people affected by breast cancer in some way.

‘Currently we have funding for 101 McGrath breast care nurses,’ she said.
‘These nurses have helped support more than 25,000 families experiencing breast cancer in Australia.’
